The Catholic High School is a specialist science college situated on the western outskirts of Chester approximately one mile from the city centre. It is an 11 to 18 Roman Catholic mixed comprehensive school with over 1000 students including a thriving Sixth Form of over 200 where the overall pass rate was over 98.5%, with over 70% of the grades at A*-C in 2011.  The proportion of GCSE students achieving 5 or more grades at C or above increased to 77% in 2011.

The School exists to provide the best Catholic education for all.  Students enjoy high quality teaching, wonderful support and the opportunity to grow and develop in their understanding of Jesus Christ. We are a warm and friendly school where achievement is celebrated and enjoyed whilst we continue to encourage personal qualities such as kindness, resilience and empathy.
